G&S Acoustics, a leading manufacturer of acoustical products, began operations in 1946 under the name of the Herbert Golterman Company, selling fencing and other building products. Shortly thereafter, Ed Golterman partnered with Steve Sabo to create Golterman & Sabo, Inc.  They began to manufacture acoustical products in the 1970s.

The vision expanded when the third generation, Herb and Ned Golterman, joined the company in the 1980s.  Along with a team of dedicated and forward-thinking employees, the Goltermans have grown the company into one of the leading acoustical products companies in the country.  G&S Acoustics has introduced new products and new, more efficient systems for installing their products.
